my friends will and ian (who play nick and wayne in the show, respectively) have a bunch of other episodes written. don't know what's happening w/ them right now -- who knows!
yeah, that was fun. we actually played the laugh track live while shooting, so the actors could hear it and pause at the appropriate places. (which made the crew laugh too and almost ruined the shoot!)
About half these films are projects I've done at film school. this one definitely was -- a 3-camera tv production class. the cameras were regular TV cameras (albeit old and beat-up ones) that rolled around the floor on pneumatic pedestals and fed directly to a deck in a control room rather than to a tape deck in the camera. classmates manned the cameras and helped light and dress the set. it's a fun class -- we bang these out in about four hours of shooting and usually get one whole take of a scene that we can use in its entirety. (that's what this is -- 3 cameras cut live to tape, one take). anyway, thanks!
it just goes to show what good acting can do!! looks great!! the laughter was funny too!! what kinda camera did you shoot this one on? are these all projects somehow related to your studies? great job!!
