i remember in 8th grade when we were in a nirvana cover band. then pete told me that his dad was in the melvins and i was like, 'holy shit, thats almost as awesome as nirvana but still really awesome.' for a year i believed him. one day, i said, 'damn your dad is on the soundtrack of demon knight, their song is really good. i love the melvins.' then pete said, 'the melvins, oh wait, he's in the marvins.'
