Oh yeah the I-movie animation technic you used in Found Poem is tricky. For me no effishent enough to work a clay animation. I think I would go crazy.

On Billy And Brono Show nothing was edited. But we did make one complete dub over the whole tape. The Dub was done in one take. So we had to practice. We only had one mike so we passed it around a bit. The JVC-VHSC camera had a realy great dub feature on it.

I meant, did you have to add the audio after somehow? Because the animation is great, and I'm just wondering how you got the audio in there with a vhs camera and no editing.

As far as iMovie goes, you can sort of animate if you cut your clips very small and then speed them up. That's what I did with the found poem video. It isn't as smooth as it could be, but I could have tweaked it more if I wanted it smoother.

Well at the time both my freind Nick and I had a realy hard time writing anything legable. So we just made up the story as we shot it. Some how the story sort of worked out. I want to do some more clay animation. I guess I should find an animation program for the computer. If anyone knows how I can animate with I-movie let me know. I don't like Computer Amimation because it's not at hands on.
I love working with Clay and Cardboard. We can make movies out of anything. Yeah!

and so is big jared. I think that's the best thing I've heard since the last best thing I heard. You have a good mind, man. I think I can see that decomposing head right now, too, and you're right, it was really great. Pretend cameras are awesome.

How did you lay the dialogue on this one, btw?

I worked very hard on the Billy an Brono show. Little Jared became obsessed and fell in love with the ability to some how make his imaginary world sort of real. You see when I was eight i practiced making clay animations all day. I had this realy great one it was a head that decomposed to the skull then melted. Unfortunatly I don't have them on tape because I never taped them. My family could not afford a camera so I made a pretend camera out of cardboard. I would move the clay then click the fake camera. On one occasion I spend two days shooting one animation. The animation I shot didn't exist on film or video. It existed in my mind after I shot it. I'm very thankfull to have all the tools I have today. Remeber there is a million things you can do with a half dead VHS camra it's what you do with it.

This video is fucking amazing! The farthest I got in 15 year old animation movies was five second shorts of suicidal, fat play-dough men.

For the movie with the most exquisite, bizarre ramblings of the teenage brain I would like to present the award to Jared Witham.

Thankx Tucker. That is the school I come from. Do it all your self with no formal education. If we can keep the world from exploding I think we will come into a new age ware imagination will be the medium valued.

I liked how the KKK guy has an aluminum bat. Hit some zingers with that bat he can.

The Billy & Brono Show

1443 frames. I made this movie when I was 15 years old. A parody of David and Golith. Shot of a JVC VHS-C. Shot on the weekends at Nick's house this movie took three months to complete. We wrote the story from scene to scene. We didn't have any way to edit so we had so just change the sets. All shot on one tape. VHS can get you there. This was a break threw movie for me. I realized that I was capable of making somthing amazing with almost nothing but time and a video camera. The Billy&Brono show...
