Hobbies: TV. Video games. Blogging. I spend way too much time on the internet. The rest of my life reflects that. I'm a sucker for emotional rollercoasters. Sleeping, reading, movies, discussing, arguing, eating chocolate, being a mall rat, and staying up too late. Making fun of politics. "Laying down the law."

Interests: Film, photography, literature, politics, Japan and Asian studies, spanish, FOOD, science fiction, people, dancing and having a good time.

Books: Anything by Joesph Campbell, Gertrude and Claudius by John Updike, Cuentos de Eva Luna by Isabel Allende. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Stranger by Albert Camus, Gabriel Garcia Marquez novels, as well as James Joyce and many many others. George R. R. Martin is a bloody genius.

Artists: Jacques-Louis David, Dali, and Manet.

Heroes: Anyone who speaks their mind and fights passionately. Early femminists (not to discredit modern ones) such as Sor Juana de la Cruz. Isabel Allende. Alex Cabot. My friend, Sara, who survives everything.

Enemies: Catholic extremists, homophobes, George and his crew, sometimes my family...

Dreams: Are we talking dreams as in sleep-time movies or as in "I once had a dream..." Whatever, I had a dream once where I was suspended from the wall by a long needle stuck through my chest and out my back. I tried not to dream after that.
