sometimes paceman likes to play all unresponsive. and pretend that it's because she actually does things like e.g. work. even though she knows i have a poopy schedule too, like being stuck in a lab until 10pm tonight. sometimes she likes to do this even when i ask her extra-extra-interesting questions, about extra-interesting subjects: like, e.g., the bristles on her toothbrush. you know, how they're doing, what they're looking like... but it's okay. i know she loves me anyway. so i'll keep saying nice things about her, until she decides to play the responsiveness game again. she's really good at it, when she decides to play. just watch.
